Technical Name: Penoxsulam 1.02% + Cyhalofop-Butyl 5.1% OD
Mode of Entry: Selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide
Mode of Action:
Pixel Oriva is a dual-action post-emergence herbicide specially formulated for rice. It combines Penoxsulam and Cyhalofop-Butyl to provide broad-spectrum control of grassy, broadleaf, and sedge weeds. Penoxsulam inhibits the ALS enzyme, stopping weed growth at the cellular level, while Cyhalofop-Butyl targets grassy weeds by disrupting their lipid synthesis. This combined action ensures effective weed control, enhances crop vigor, improves grain quality, and helps boost overall rice yield.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Safe for use in transplanted and direct-seeded rice.
- Controls a wide variety of weeds including grasses, broadleaf weeds, and sedges.
- Dual-mode of action reduces the risk of herbicide resistance. Improves crop health by minimizing weed competition.
- Advanced OD formulation ensures better mixing and leaf coverage.
- Optimizes yields and grain quality through effective weed management.
Recommended Crops: Rice (transplanted and direct-seeded)
Target Weeds: Grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds common in paddy fields
Dosage: 800–900 ml per acre
Application Method:
Apply as a post-emergence spray when weeds are in early growth stages (2-4 leaf stage). Ensure even coverage of foliage. Follow best agricultural practices for water management post-application to maximize efficacy.
